Saehan Grain Draws Strong Interest from Buyers at Food Expo Kazakhstan 2025
Nov 16, 2025

On November 14, 2025, K-food drew significant attention at Food Expo Kazakhstan 2025, held in Kazakhstan. The event was attended by the Inje University GTEP (Global Trade Expert Incubating Program) Center, which showcased products from outstanding partner companies based in Gimhae.
The GTEP students selected grain snacks from Saehan Grain, a food-tech company in Gimhae that produces healthy grain-based snacks, and drip bag coffee from Gaya-dang. On site, they led product promotion, tasting events, and meetings with buyers. A variety of K-food products were displayed at the booth, and visitors showed strong interest, sampling the products and asking many questions.

In particular, many visitors stopped by as the students introduced Saehan Grain’s products. As they provided product explanations along with tasting samples, a natural crowd formed in front of the booth. Health-conscious local consumers were reported to show strong interest in the grain-based products and traditional Korean snacks.

At the tasting corner, local buyers sampled the products themselves and actively inquired about their sales potential. One buyer commented, “Consumers in Kazakhstan are also looking for healthy grain-based products and new flavors,” adding, “I would like to explore the possibility of distributing Saehan Grain’s products in the local market.” This raised expectations for potential export expansion in the future.

The exhibition hall was crowded with buyers from various countries and general visitors, and the K-food booth in particular drew strong interest from younger audiences. A representative from Inje University’s GTEP Center remarked, “Kazakhstan is a key hub in the Central Asian food market, and this event was an important opportunity to confirm the potential of Korean food companies,” adding, “We will continue exchanges and marketing efforts so that K-food brands, including Saehan Grain, can become more widely known in the local market.”
The expo once again reaffirmed the potential for Korean food companies to enter the Central Asian market. In particular, Saehan Grain is said to have left a strong impression on local consumers and buyers with its excellent quality and differentiated product lineup.
